Karuvadu varuval (Dryfish fry)
Its been quite some time and I think its high time I start blogging in once again.
Here you go...with the dryfish fry.
Its a simple side dish which you can make in minutes if you have all the ingredients.
Ingredients:
Dry fish (small ones) - 1 pack
Onion - 2
Green Chillies - 5 or 6
Grated Coconut - 2 tablespoon
Salt to taste.
Procedure:
1. Heat little oil in a pan and add the onion. Saute it until the onions are cooked.
2. Add the greenchillies, curry leaves and saute for a few more minutes.
3. Meanwhile, wash the dryfish thoroughly in hot water, for the smell to reduce.
4. Add the fish to the pan.
5. Simmer the stove and keep sauting until the fish is cooked.
6. Add salt and coconut.
7. Dryfish fry is ready to be served!!!!
Its a very easy sidedish which can be cooked in minutes and does not require too many ingredients too..
Do try and let me know how it comes for you...
Have fun!!
