VARUTHA PORI

Hello All,
I was searching for a recipe in google and got a link to Priya's kitchen.... i was really amazed while following the links..to see that there is a food blogosphere out here....
i usually go to ndtvcooks.com when i want to look over some recipes....but i know where to go now....for the past few days..i have been going thro' all the blogs...and was so much inspired to start my own one...
i love to cook...and to try different recipes...
i dont have a camera handy right now to post the pics..but will definitely post a few pics soon...

here goes my first one...

VARUTHA PORI

Ingredients :
1. Pori (You can get it easily from indian store) : 1/2 packet
2. Mustard : 2 tsp
3. Garlic : 6-7 pieces crushed
4. Peanuts : 1/2 cup
5. Curry leaves : 1 spring
6. Jeera : 3 tsp
7. Mor molagai : 3-4 (You can substitute with red chillies, if using red chillies 2 shd be fine)
8. Coconut oil : 3 tbsp.

Heat oil in a pan and saute the mustard, jeera, curry leaves, mor molagai, garlic. Once the garlic has been fried 20%, add the pori. Switch off the pan and remove from heat. Add peanuts and mix well... Its not required to add salt as pori has salt in it....

Makes a very good evening snack...

Do try and let me know how it goes....

I will try to post more with pics soon...
